Community Acupuncture

So, what is community acupuncture as opposed to regular acupuncture?

The aim of community acupuncture is to make acupuncture more accessible and affordable for all!

Acupuncture works best when you come in at least once a week for a minimum of three to six treatments. At $55 per treatment, this can add up really fast, especially if you don’t have coverage through your health insurance or if your coverage is used up for the year.

Community acupuncture is offered in a small group setting instead of a private setting. In this way, the practitioner can offer treatment to more people within a shorter time frame. This also means that you pay less per treatment. If you prefer a private acupuncture session, go here.

Community acupuncture involves a slightly different style of treatment, with only points on the arms, lower legs and head being used. Please wear clothing that can be rolled up to the knees and elbows.

Acupuncture Guelph offers community acupuncture on Wednesdays, 12:00-2:00 pm & 4:00-6:00 pm.

The fee scale for community acupuncture is $20-$40. Whatever you can afford, no questions asked.
